Training Expansion
Laidler Associates have expanded the training side of the business by employing Stewart Robinson, an experienced engineer with a background in control systems. In recent years, Stewart has specialised in functional safety, providing both verification and training services for machinery compliance and it is this expertise which is allowing the Laidler training services to expand. Stewart will be running the new functional safety courses, a 1 day awareness course and a 5 day University course alongside the current University course in European Machinery Safety Requirements.
“Stewart brings with him a vast amount of knowledge and experience in functional safety”, said Paul Laidler, Business Director for Laidler Associates. “Due to the forthcoming standards changes, our customer base has a requirement for functional safety consultancy and training and Stewart allows us to provide these services”.
